Pros: easy to move, versatile, better liked than bassinet
Cons: baby didn't love it, frame base is quite wide, so hard to find a palce in various rooms for it
We have used this bed for 2 of our own now & loaned it out for 2 others. It has held up well, been the most liked bed we've had (outside of the family bed), it travels great & for our 1st who ONLY settled for bouncing, it gave me a break from setting on the exercise ball to put him in there & bounce his bed instead.
Pros: really does help the baby to sleep better, easy to set up
Cons: somewhat bulky, hard to lay a larger sleeping baby down into it without waking them
Love this hammock - one of my best buys even though she is no longer sleeping in it. My little one slept in this (unless she was sleeping on me!) from birth until 9 months. We had this next to our bed, it was easy to see her sleeping face (and do the normal paranoid mum thing of checking breathing), if she started to stir her movements meant that the hammock moved with her and essentially rocked her back to sleep. My DD was not a sleeper, but this really really helped. She would nap in here too. At night it was easy to reach in and lift her out for nursing. I put a small mobile in the hammock too, and DD used to laugh and play with it and then as she moved the mobile would move too - hours of fun!
After 9 months we determined that she was getting too big to settle in there easily.
