I bought my Baby Hawk as my first ever baby carrier before I had my first baby. I wasn't sure what to look for or what I needed exactly.    I like it but it puts all my baby's weight on my shoulders and it's hard to keep her in it for over 10 minutes now that she is over 14 pounds. I am not confident enough to put her on my back cause she's only 3 months old so I wear her on the front. 

My first babyhawk was a small, minkee lined mei tai that was "middle of the road". I got it sometime in 2005, I believe (all my dates are approximate, and I don't always remember which carriers I've paid for and which I've done as testers, so bear with me on those.) It was cute, but didn't stand out, comfort-wise. They changed a bit of the design after that.   We got a Toddlerhawk before going on a cruise, sometime in 2006 or 2007. A deep green with a gorgeous mandala on it, my husband was happy to wear it, and one of my favorite pictures is of him, with our daughter on his back in the Toddlerhawk, walking down the steps at the Panama Canal while she tries to grab the Panama...

I own three BabyHawks; two regular and one ToddlerHawk. All of these carriers have been wonderful for me.I have owned a variety of carriers in the last 10 years; from wraps slings, to ring slings, various structured carriers and every other variation. I have a large bust and have breastfed continuously since my eldest was born in 2001. I am currently expecting my 5th child in the next few months. I find wearing carriers difficult without making my bust more noticeable or squashing myself. I have a high needs baby who always wants to be held, but hates being worn. After going through a couple of different wraps and more structured carriers I was ready to admit defeat in the babywearing arena. But I decided to give it one last shot and ordered a BabyHawk. I had a lot of fun customizing what I wanted my carrier to look like and I was really excited to get it in the mail. It's stylishness did not disappoint, and to my surprise neither did its functionality! My daughter loves being in it!    

I purchased my BabyHawk after hearing from a few friends that they liked their mei-tai style carrier and because it was more afordable than the popular Ergo carrier.  At the time of purchase, my baby was 1 month old and I was desperate for a way to hold my baby while being hands free to do other chores.  I am a simple person and I was skeptical about whether the BabyHawk was a functional carrier or just was something that looked pretty.  I was pleasantly surprised that the carrier was durable, comfortable and versatile. My daughter is 13 months old now and I still use the BabyHawk daily both inside and outside the home.  We make dinner, rake leaves, vacuum- you...

This is without a doubt the single best "baby" item I own. I LOVE the fact that since you retie it every time you put it on, it fits everyone perfectly, every time. I love that you can use this in a front, back, OR hip carry, without overly heavy padding or bulky straps and buckles around my neck. The unbelievably endless options for strap and fabric make this one of the most exciting and personal items I purchased for my daughter (or is it for myself? :) )

Love the BHMT.  It's easy to use, super comfy for baby, versitile, cute with all the prints.  I reach for this over any of my other carriers.

My son disliked wraps so we were thrilled to discover Mei Tais when he was one month. This is our favourite. Supportive for his little body, comfortable on mine. Great fit on me, my husband and anyone else. I loved the huge variety of fabric options and an glad I went for the pocket on the back to hold the spit up cloth. It was a dream to have it on a seven hour bus ride when he was two months old. It worked great to put my son on my back at four months, but as he got heavier that 25 lb I found I needed a carrier with more support. My husband still prefers the ease of this carrier.

This is a great baby carrier for babies who like to face toward their parents. Very well made. When my baby was small he liked to be able to see out, but he couldn't see past the headrest...so he would rather be in the Bjorn. Then when he got bigger he only liked facing outwards so it did not get used.  I am keeping it for future use, because I love this carrier!  It was a great color, very comfortable.  It just wasn't for this type of baby.
