Fun and brainy!

I just finished reading Beyond the Sling by Mayim Bialik. I received the book to review as part of the Mothering Mavens program and I'm really glad I did. What I really enjoy is that Bialik writes not only from personal experience but also with solid scientific research and tidbits. The book is funny, witty, and informative, with lots of good information on the science of attachment, babywearing, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, and gentle discipline. Its a book that reaffirms my decision to practice attachment parenting, while giving evidence to support it. Brava, Dr. Bialik!
