Pros: natural, soothing, good price and effective

Cons: none

Love butts bees products. Liked that is natural, effective yet gentle on sensative skin. Not smelly. Used on bottoms and other small cuts. One pass and rosy is gone overnight

I have used this on booty rashes and occasionally on other skin issues. Its soothing, and helps! Just make sure that if you are using pocket cloth diapers, you usually want to use some kind of barrier between the ointment and the diaper (I used a piece of soft fabric) because the ointment can affect the absorbancy of the diaper

Pros: spreads smoothly, no smell

Cons: contains 'fragrance'

I stayed away from ointments for as long as possible, using just coconut oil. When I used this I liked the texture, smooth and didn't stick to my finger but stayed in the area applied. I didn't use it often though, because I was afraid of it clogging up my cloth diapers.

The thing I really disliked about the ointment was the suspiciously unnamed fragrance ingredient -  completely unnecessary at all, then not identified either.

Pros: IT WORKS, smells good

Cons: expensive, no can version

We use alot of diaper creams around here.  My favorite is not this one, but I like the way it looks and it does clear up rashes quickly.

PRO

- it works.  This is big, only because some natural "rash" creams actually caused rash on my baby

- cute packaging

- also available in a cute sample pack that's perfect for shower gifts

SIDE NOTE: I appreciate that Burt's Bee's uses only natural ingredients, but to me, that's not a big selling point, because my DD is allergic to some natural ingredients used in other brands that we tried.

CON

-expensive.  okay, all diaper creams are fairly expensive but this is definitely up there.

-hard to find

-does not come in a can or jar.  I find the bottle packaging is messier to use.

Overall, this is not my fav diaper cream.  It works, but so do other less expensive and easier to use brands.  If the cute packaging makes you hate changing a messy diaper at 1 am just a little less, then by all means, enjoy.  I've been there too.

Pros: Better ingredients, can use with cloth diapers, no smell, works for diaper rash

Cons: Messy

My son had a pretty bad diaper rash for several months and at first coconut oil worked wonders. After a while, though, it came back and coconut oil didn't work anymore. We tried ALL the diaper creams at Whole Foods (about seven of them) and none of them worked. I tried Burt's Bees last. I kinda feel like they are a 'sell out' company and I just assumed the ingredients wouldn't be good - but finally I sucked it up and turn the bottle around and was pleasantly surprised! No nasty stuff!

Anyhow, this worked great to clear up my baby's rash and keep it at bay. We applied it for a good week after the rash appeared gone and it kept it gone. Any redness we would re-apply.

We didn't have any trouble with this and our cloth diapers. We didn't use liners or anything and it washed right out of our diapers.

Only thing is that it's messy. If you use your hands it's hard to wash off unless you wait for the hot water. We ended up using wipes to wipe it on.

Pros: good smell, trusted name

Cons: not for use in cloth diapers

I bought this when my LO had a terrible rash - I was trying lots of different creams. This one didnt end up getting rid of that rash, but it did work on others. I loved the smell, easy to apply - just use with disposables not with cloth. Difficult to get out of cloth.
