Pros: Wooden; Beautifully constructed; lovely colours and paint finish; sturdy.
Cons: If you want to go back & forth between the 2 sets of hands for the clock, you have to unscrew and rescrew with a screwdriver.
This clock comes with 2 sets of 'hands' - one set is wooden, and they can be turned around and manipulated, so that you can talk about time with your child, and quiz each other, and move the hands all you want. Then, when they're ready for their first wall clock in their bedroom, you can unscrew the set of wooden hands, and add the battery operated apparatus with movable hands....
