Funny, cute book for 7-13 Year Olds
Pros: English/Spanish Bilingualism, easy to read
I was initially drawn to this book because of the bilingualism. We are trying to raise our two kids bilingual and I tend to gravitate toward anything that has both English and Spanish. This book is written in a half text, half illustration format that my 8 year old daughter enjoys. It's easy for her to read, it's lighthearted and cute. She's spend the most time reading it in bed before lights go out. She thinks it's cute and funny. I appreciate that it has a "word gallery" in the back of the book for her to use. I also like that she is working on her spanish without it seeming like a "chore".
