Pros: Tons of resources, mostly objective
Cons: could include more on nutrition
This book was recommended to me when I was first pregnant. It provided a great resource with all of the information about body changes, how to find someone to deliver your baby (it even covered, objectively, the differences between doctors, doulas, midwives, etc), things to have ready when baby comes, how the baby is changing, how to care for your new baby. I liked that it also presented both sides of hot-button issues such as circumcision and episiotomies. It was a pretty decent resource to have. The only thing that I was wanting more of was specific information about nutrition and when are good times to eat certain foods to aid development.
