Knickernappies Doorknob Diaper Pail (seaspray)

It seemed like such a great idea when I bought it, but I had no experience with babies or diapers then... who ever thought a diaper bag should stay open all the time? Gross!! I'll take the more cumbersome two-hands required to close bags over the more convenient, hands-free, but significantly more stinky design every day of the week. Once it reaches a certain capacity (not full), it pops right off the door knob leaving an open bag to spill dirty wet diapers onto the floor... add to that the fact that my mother can't ever seem to figure out how to configure the snaps to attach it in the first place and it's a clear loser in my book. 

I purchased the Knickernappies Doorknob Diaper Pail & a Fuzzibunz Doorknob Diaper Pail, and hands down, the Fuzzibunz liner performs the best.

The Kickernappies "pail" does NOT work on doorknobs. More than a few diapers, and the snaps will come undone. I have tried using it on an actual doorknob, and also on a hook on the side of DS's dresser... In both cases, the Kickernappies liner inevitably ends up on the floor.

Also, it's terribly inconvenient to empty. As I imagine most parents do, I try to empty the dirty diapers into the machine without actually having to touch them again. Well, Knickernappies doesn't make this easy. The opening is too small, and the back doesn't easily turn inside out.

There are MANY better options out there... Don't waste your money on this one.
