Necessary for swimming but pretty uncomfortable

Posted

Pros: Only thing that works for swimming, easy to clean, easy to use

Cons: Hurt to take off, milk explosion when remove

I got these because I thought they'd be the ultimate nursing pad but I found I only liked them for swimming.  Every time I used them swimming or not I'd have a milk explosion when I would take them off even if it had only been a few minutes since I put them on/nursed.  They also hurt BAD to take them off when I had sore nipples.  The sticky part really sticks well but also gets lots of dust and stuff stuck to it.  It's easy to clean the guck off but then you have to let them sit out and dry.  They were easy to use but really not the go to like I thought they'd be.  They're the only thing that works for me when going swimming though.

no leaks at all

Posted

Pros: reusable, work great, invisible under clothes

Cons: a little pricey

I had hoped to use washable, cloth breast pads, but they were too bulky under my clothes and I worried about leakage. I tried Lilypadz at a friend's suggestion and I love them! They last for months, wash clean easily, are totally invisible under your clothes, and there is NO leakage at all. I do use washable cloth pads overnight to give my breasts time to "breathe." Have had nothing but good experience with Lilypadz.
