I bought this balm hoping it would help with the horrible redness that came nearly every time we missed catching a poo in the toilet (we do part-time EC) and I was getting frustrated with the sheer number of things I'd tried that hadn't really helped.
Then I bought the LuSa Organics Booty Balm, and I can't tell you how amazing it is. Every time I've used it, it has cleared up redness overnight. I love that it's safe for use with cloth diapers, too. I don't have to worry about putting a liner in to save my diapers!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's struggling with redness on their little one's tushie.
I use this on both my babies (18 mo and 2 yr) for a variety of different things. It is great for cold, dry days to prevent further dryness or chafing. I sometimes use it on myself as well! Great value and smells great! It is gentle and doesn't irritate my kids skin. I bought it on Amazon and got FREE shipping!
I love booty balm. Our whole family loves booty balm especially. When I had my son I knew there was a brand that I couldn't use because one of my dogs has a fondness for that brand I wound up trying the booty balm because it's made only a few hours from where we live. I love it, love it, love it. In fact, we've regifted all of the other kinds we had in the house and are booty balm exclusive! I am on my 3rd container and am going to order the big refill of it!
Booty Balm has been a staple item in my diaper bag, purse, travel bag since my first child was born 6 years ago!

I first encountered this product by chance while visiting a farmer's market in Wisconsin when my daughter was three months old. It has been a staple in my diaper bag, purse, travel bag and medicine cabinet for the last six year! It was highly effective at keeping my daughter's bottom rash free as in infant, but I didn't stop using it when the diapers came off. I regularly use it after baths to help combat her sometimes poor wiping skills. During one sleep night, it heals the sore red skin and burning sensation she gets when she doesn't effectively dry herself after urinating.
I also apply it to chapped lips and cheeks. I love that my daughter will come and ask me for some booty balm. I give booty balm to all of my pregnant friends. I highly recommend trying this product.
Pros
Cons
Natural ingredients, highly effective at preventing and treating diaper rash and other irritated skin issues. Doesn't stain. Family run company.
The "jar" packaging requires that you have to be careful not to contaminate the product by "double dipping" with your fingers.
I love this product. It seems like it does unbelievable things. My 14m has red buttom too often and every night I use Booty Balm. Redness would be gone by next morning. How can it get better than that.
We love Lusa's Booty Balm around our house for healing just about everything from diaper rash, scrapes and cuts, scars, face rashes, and what our 3 year old daughter calls "itchy booty"!
Booty Balm is by far my favorite and a MUST HAVE baby product. I've used it on my daughter (22 months) since the day she was born. The hospital wouldn't give us anything to put on baby's diaper area when it got a bit red but luckily I had stashed some Booty Balm in my hospital bag and it cleared her right up. I cannot say enough good things about this product. It's not messy or stinky (it smells lovely, in fact!) like Destine, and it truly does prevent and fix any redness in the diaper area. I'm happy to say this is the only product I've ever used on my daughters skin, and she's never had a diaper rash. It also works great on dry and cracked skin (I used it to help my poor dry hands last winter). I also love that it's cloth diaper safe, and is a natural American made product!

Cons
Safe, smells great, not messy, cd safe, works wonders!
Not only do I use this on our little babe, the family uses it on rashes and scrapes. We don't go anywhere without it! It is also my go-to baby gift. I also love the scent and admittedly sometimes put it on our baby just for fun.
Pros
Cons
Incredibly effective, trusted for my little ones, multi purpose
Booty Balm is for everything! I always take a big scoop, so I don't have to double dip into the jar, and rub it all over his clean bum, genitals, even those spots on his body where the diaper rubs and the skin looks sore. Diaper changing turns into a mini-massage for his thighs & chest. The next day, everything looks lovely.
So I started to use it on myself when my IBS flared up. It works on my bum too! Now I keep a small jar in my purse, just in case.
Then we tried it on:
dry skin
drool rash
redness from runny nose
sunburns
my husband's shaving irritation
my son's knee scrapes from falling
wind burn
cuts
cuticles
I even use it as hand lotion
The best part is that Booty Balm is great for cloth diapers. I keep a jar in my son's diaper bag, his room, my purse, at grandma's house, and at daycare. I bought some today, just in case. I have no problems with Booty Balm and will proudly use this product for life.
Pros
Cons
Can be used on any part of the body for pretty much any reason
Sometimes after I rub it on my son's booty, I don't want to wash my hands because they smell so good. Don't worry, I wash my hands every time.
