Moby D Wrap

I highly recommend this wrap. It is very comfortable and holds baby securely. There is a bit of a learning curve at first, to figure out the proper way to wrap it. However, once you have it down, it is quite easy. I liked that I could use it with my newborn. She was a fussy baby, but very much liked being held close in this wrap. I have received many compliments on the unique look of the design, as it is a very pretty blue silk. I have noticed that the silk has faded over time, which I believe is due to the fact that is repeatedly stretched over baby when worn. It is still nice looking, but does not have the same vibrant blue it had when I first purchased it.

This wrap is meant for children up to 35 pounds, but I think I will be switching to a different type of carrier soon. My daughter is 7 1/2 months and 20 lbs and is quite active. At this point she has a tendency to work her way out of the wrap and I don't feel as secure as I did when she was small. I will be sorry to retire this wrap though, it has served us well!

A note on the price--I bought this at a sidewalk sale at a local natural baby store, but I believe the normal retail price is 69.99.

I bought myself this Moby to spoil myself. And man did I!

I love being able to walk around a store without a car seat or risking dropping her, knowing she is well supported as well as hidden from the germy hands of strangers.

It was very easy to learn how to wear and how to insert her. I never tried it before she was born and after just two baby doll trial runs I had it down! Even my husband wears it.

It is very interesting to other mothers who have never seen one, I get all sorts of questions...

Is it easy to use? Is it comfortable? Is it worth it? Yes yes yes!

My only issue is the price. That's an awfully high price tag for something that is essentially a strip of fabric.
