Decent disposable nursing pads

Posted

Pros: absorbent

Cons: slide around sometimes

These did a great job of keeping me from leaking all over. They were absorbent and breathable. They were also cheap. I also liked that they were thin enough that I could fold them down with my bra and use them as a "milk catcher" of sorts when nursing and without a cloth. The only trouble that I had with these pads was the fact that sometimes they would slide around in my bra.

Worst Nursing Pads (& Boycott Nestle)

Posted

Cons: too thin to hold milk, don't conform to breast, move around,

These pads are horrible. I leaked right "through" them, meaning that they couldn't hold enough milk from one let down on the breast I wasn't nursing on and so the milk just flowed out around the pad and into my bra/shirt. Also, NUK was purchased by Nestle and there is an active boycott of Nestle for pushing formula in developing nations. Don't waste your money

good for a quick trip, not all day

Pros: thin, not lumpy

Cons: thin! not very absorbent

I liked these for quick trips out, but they don't absorb enough to catch the other side overflow during letdown. If you're not planning on nursing a lot in between, go for it, but make sure you tuck a burp rag in your shirt first!

Too thin for me

While I'm sure these nursing pads would be great for many moms, I just had too much leaking for these to work for me. Think of these as the panty liner of nursing pads.
