Pros: small and easy to use
Cons: too many pieces to clean
Every time I pumped it was a slow start, but once my milk let out IT WOULD FLOW! I used this pump at work, I liked that it was small enough to fit into my lunch bag with room to spare.
It was comfortable to use, I guess due to the "soft petal" thing, but I never used any other breast pumps because I got this one for free. I don't know how it compares to other brands or styles.
The only thing I didn't like about it was that there were lots of small parts to clean. I don't have a dishwasher, so that was a definite drawback. I used this back in 07, and am due to have my second LO in feb/mar, I've been shopping for a pump and they all seem to have 5 or so pieces I from what I've seen. I'm guessing this is an industry standard.
Overall, I really liked this pump and since I got it for free, it was a great value! I would still suggest this pump even if I had paid for it though.
