How long can this last?

Ugh. I am done with this. I am currently on hour #22.5 of labor. I am finally at having my contractions six minutes apart and lasting 1.5 mins. However, it took me five hours to go from seven minutes to six. I am so ready for four minutes apart so I can go the birth center and at least get in the tub to relax.

I'm sorry it's been such a long haul, mama. Just keep in mind, the pace can change at any time- this doesn't mean it'll take you that long to progress the next couple of centimeters.

I hope you're at the birth center right now, relaxing in that tub!
