Hey everyone! I had my baby on the 13th..Labor was so quick I didn't make it to the hospital or even in the car. By the time I realized I was in labor and my DH got DD to the babysitter my water had broken. I ended up delievering her myself on the bathroom floor. (she almost ended up in the toilet but I caught her in time)
Alexandra had some complications.. When we made it to the hospital they tested her blood sugar and it didn't even register on the machine it was so low. She was transfered to the NICU and spent the next four days there. We were finally released this morning.. She has a lot of problems nursing since we ended up having to give her a bottle (she was so lathargic that she wouldn't nurse at all).. She won't latch on but Im working with a lactation consultant and hopefully she will soon.. Im pumping and not having to supliment with formula anymore since her blood sugars are now stable...

: sorry about the complications and I hope nursing improves soon!

: that nursing improves soon.
sorry it was a rough start for Alexandra, hoping and praying that nursing takes off and you get the help you need for the lc.

Sorry you are having nursing troubles, that whole situation must have been so scary for you. Best wishes for a healthy latch, and soon!
