Trouble with sprouting beans spoiling

Thread Starter
I want to cry when I think about how much money I've wasted on beans that I was sprouting, only to have them spoil before they were sprouted. I think my problems alternate between not rinsing them often enough or doing such big batches that they are either staying too wet in the center or not getting enough air circulated. Anyone have any rules or guidelines for doing this that will help me to stop spoiling so many beans? Frequency of rinsing, size of batch, etc.?

I would do smaller batches if you're having trouble keeping up with the rinsing. They might not be getting enough air circulation either, so make sure the beans can "breathe".
