What does your child wear to sleep in?? - Page 2

DS likes to sleep naked. He goes to sleep and stays that way so much easier than when he has clothes on! He has sensory issues, so it makes sense. He just turned 6, btw.

I have several warm blankets on his bed, he loves to snuggle under them. That keeps him plenty warm, although we are in a Southern state so it never gets TOO cold around here.

I'm with laohaire and momslittleangel on this one. My 3.5 year sleeps in his clothes because he refuses to sleep in pajamas! Ever since he could talk and make his preferences known he has hated pajamas. I really don't know why either but hey....if it ain't broke I'm not going to fix it LOL!

DS sleeps in thermals which I call "pajamas." Today he insisted on wearing the top to school. He wanted to wear the bottom too, but we compromised and I let him wear the top and he wore blue jeans on the bottom.

my dd runs hot. right now she's in cotton long pj's. during summer she's in two piece short top and bottom.

I think sweats sound like a great idea. I love to sleep in sweats, myself! The LO's both sleep in pj's, often two layers. Dd (who still mostly sleeps with me) wears cloth trainers and sleepers or long underwear, and ds wears flannel pj's (lucky him, my mom just got him couple of sets from Garnet Hill- they are deliciously soft). I don't like them sleeping in fleece unless they have a layer of cotton between the fleece and their skin. We invest in wool long underwear every couple of years, and they wear that under (cotton)pj's, too, when it is really cold. They wear undershirts 24/7 past October.

We do stretchy cotton jersey pajamas, mostly Kohl's, Carter's, Children's Place or used Hanna. Sometimes I've found more or less the same thing marked as thermal underwear and that's fine, too. No ployester, fleece, flannel, nylon, etc. because of the flame retardant, and because he would sweat horribly in the non-natural fabrics.

:and my DD is like the opposite I'm in southern AZ in one of the few places generally hotter than Phoniex but my DD even in summer will put on fleece PJs wrap her self in a heavy blanket and then burry her self under a comforter. She'll be dripping with sweat but thats how she wants it.
