Happy couponing for me today

Not sure how many of you get the Sunday paper but that is 50 cents well spent every week for me. Although I don't buy much "crappy" food, they do have coupons for free items like paper towels or coupons for organic cereal, ect.. we don't eat 100% organic since we can't afford it but I try to limit the worse of the worse. I only clip what I know I will use.

Well, this past Sunday, they had a coupon for $5 off a $30 purchase at Winn Dixie in the paper so I made DH go get another one. Stores around here like Publix and Sweetbay honor competitor coupons and lately, they have stopped sending them in the mail or in the flyers.

Anyway, Winn Dixie was suppose to have their frozen organic veggies 4 for $5 but the sign on it says 3 for $5. I frowned but took it anyway knowing I would bring the flyer with me. When they rang up, they came to $1 each. Ok cool. Then the organic valley cheese was on sale 2 for $5 and although some people hate dairy, I will always love my cheese. I had $1.50 coupons so I got 4 packs of shredded organic cheese for $1 each!

Got myself some muir glen stuff for cheap too with my 75 cent off coupons at another store and their pasta sauce was on clearance for $1.59 and didn't expire for another year... I had a 75 cent off coupon for that too. I'm having a great buying food because I have no choice while saving money with a smile day. Hopefully I can spread the savings!:

I would be super excited over $1 organic cheese too. Organic Valley has the best coupons. I get excited when I can get organics for less than a lot of people pay for conventional.

Happy Couponing to you too!! I'm going to day as well, or attempting to with two kids, lol. I got 4 papers yesterday and I wish I could have got more! There are a bunch of great coupons this week!

But I have to ask how did you get your paper for $.50? Here they are $1.50 I would get waaaay more coupons if I only paid that much!

I guess it depends on the area. My MIL's paper costs about $2.00 but ours is 50 cent at most places. If you stop on the side of the street, then it's $1.00. We take a family walk to CVS every Sunday to get it. I've also seen deals in the paper to have it delivered for a cheaper price. If people around here didn't steal the paper, I would do that instead..
