She arrived on Nov.9 weighing a HUGE (for me anyway) 7lbs 11oz!!
My water broke at 5am and she was born at 5:06pm after an easy labor!
Had an epidural started, over-reacted to it so they turned it off for four hours (just pressure waves the whole time, no pain!), then turned back on at half the power for lowest dose pitocen (it added strength and crampiness to the contrax, but still not bad) at 2pm. It only worked on my right leg, back, and perineum then, but it was enough. No urge this time, so pushing was a trick so I actually appreciated the coaching, but I was "with it" the whole time instead of missing everything while away in labor land! Yay!
:: I felt her moving down, my pelvis opening, and felt her turn from posterior to anterior as she moved through the birth canal! It was awesome and painless! My babe arrived with a five foot cord not wrapped even once around her!!!
The only con was my usual OB's weren't on call and I had a guy I'd never met. He sucked at perineum massage (stretch doesn't = massage
: ) so I got two stitches (never tore before). But he was nice and did everything else I asked of him 
Buggy didn't get a bath till the next day as per my request and she was bathed in my room. I was able to BF in the delivery room for over an hour! She roomed with me the whole time and we have a great BF relationship!:
