What are your favorite Nourishing Traditions recipes--and why?

What SAD recipes have you been able to convert to a more traditional foods approach?

Thank you.:

Turkey Sausage!! amazing
carob chews......dangerously good
pancakes are good
banana bread is fabulous
yogurt dough for pizza very tasty
love the crunchy nuts
potato skins (we dip them in yogurt, great snack for the kids)

I made the pelmeni from the recipe on the WAPF site today, I used a recipe from my other cookbook for the filling, it was quite good and my kids were so excited to have pasta!

I wasn't crazy about the homemade peanut butter.....

(and I've only had the book for a month, can't wait to make more!)

I've done a bunch of my old recipes with some minor changes and for the most part they've been great. I use Joy of Cooking.

Thanks for the response.

I like the banana bread too, and the crispy nuts--pecans are delicious.

I'll try the other recipes you mentioned.

The oatmeal is delicious and easy. The carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is amazing.
