Norah Sage arrived November 12 at 7:56am. She weighed 7 pounds 13.5 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long
We should have known, when we got to the birth center and the nurses looked at us like deer in the headlights.
for four LDRP rooms, SEVEN WOMEN (including yours truly) had babies in a 24 hour period. Full moon and nine months ago was Valentines Day (tee hee hee, we couldn't get dinner reservations, soooo......)
we had a wonderful repeat c section (no regrets at all, our health demanded it and i have made peace) and recovery is going very well.
since there were so many of us, they opened three extra rooms in the hospital in the day surgery unit for an improvised maternity ward. since there wasn't the regular security measures as in maternity, we got one-on-one nursing the whole time. what a blessing!
Norah is just beautiful. She is nursing well and sleeping twice as much as her big brother did. We are all the better for it!
