Anyone knit LTK Trelford the Turtle?

I'm trying to find out what size needles it uses before I buy the pattern. I want to knit this for my kids for Christmas but if I don't have the right size needles I can't buy it. Any idea what size it uses??

I think it's a size 1.

I met a woman who was doing it, but she refused to knit in the round, so had redone the whole pattern to be knit flat... she was kind of odd.

Egads! I can't imagine working it flat, especially the shell. And on a size ONE needle?!?! That's just torture, LOL!

I've got the pattern calling for size 7's, but since it's not really something that needs to "fit" anyone, you can easily work it on 6's or 8's (probably even 5's if you go with a thinner worsted like wool ease)
