Non Vaxxing Doctors in Missoula

Hi, ladies. We live in Missoula and our children are not vaccinated. Does anyone use a doctor who is okay with not vaccinating? If so, could you please share their name with me?

I live in Missoula and have found doctors to be not happy about a non-vaxing choice, my experience is that if I flat out tell them no that they let it go. I don't have a list of who are more non-vax friendly than others. We went to the Western Montana Clinic Pediatric group, they are pro vax... Then we went to Florence Family Practice to Devry Garity PA.... I have heard Dr. Ravitz (Spelling?) has given exemptions, and there's another few.

Anyways, I am part of a group of Montana families working to change the regulation that excludes non vaxed children from daycares. If you are interested in supporting that in any way, we would love your help... If even just having your name as a supporter. Plus if you know anyone else in Montana who would support this, we'd be thrilled.

Have you tried a naturopath? I have found them better for us. More respectful and willing to work with our ideas about health.

My twins see Dr. Lowder at Missoula Valley Pediatrics. We decided against vaccinating and he respects our choice, without seeming to be judgemental. I met with a few peds (we live in Hamilton), who were pretty confrontational about the idea of non-vaxing and really rubbed me the wrong way. Dr. Lowder lets us know why he thinks vaccinations are important and then respects our decision to decline.

When we went to a Dr we went to Lowder also. He did push the DTaP but was respectful for the most part. Very funny guy and he cloth diapers!! I can recommend a Classical Homeopath and Cranial Sacral Therapist!!

If we feel we have an emergency meaning homeopath out of town we go to St Pat's Now Care and they have never given me any grief about not vacc'ing. At ALL!:
