question about knitting longies

I'm working on a pair of LTK picky pants longies. I'm at the part now where I've split off to knit the separate legs. My question is once I've finished the first leg, how do I go back and start the second leg?

once you finish the first leg and bind off all the stitches, you'll go back to the first leg. Hold a tail (about 8" or so, to weave in later to secure) and literally just start knitting the stitches. It'll feel weird for the first few stitches, but then you'll be fine. There's no "trick" to it, you just knit
