joining the club

i jriust tested today and we are soooo excited! this will be baby number 3 for us but my fist time in a due date club.....i found mdc when my youngest was about 4 weeks old.

right now my main worrys are figuring out when to tell everybody and deciding between a group midwifery practice thats 2 hours away but runs the only free standing birth center in my state and a local ob/gyn with an okay section rate

i know "they" say to wait until the first triester is passed to tell but i really want to go ahead, especially family. this is first tie i've been married so i' m looking forward to finally getting congrats instead of a lecture.....

snyway i'm looking forward to getting to know everybody over the months:

eta- just did a quick edd calculation and it could be july but for now i'm sticking in the august club....one calculator did give me an aug 1 edd

Congrats! I'm sure you'll find a fun way to tell the family and as we all know, every child is a blessing.

You have a long time to decide on where to give birth even though I know August will come sooner than you think. Personally I couldn't imagine driving 2 hours in labor, especially if I had 2 small kids and a husband who isn't likely to be sober.

I hope you get the congratulations you are looking for from your family and all is well with your pregnancy.

congrats! I'm umm... suspcious? Hopeful? worried? scared? But mostly really, really suspicious and hopeful that I'm preggo too. Can't test for another week or so... but, yes. We shall see. We had perfect "accidental" timing

he'll be sober for this for sure.....

but somebody will have to drive us as i don't think i'll be up to the task and he's not legal to drive, sober or not
