Another toy thread - 4 year olds

'Tis the season and I have seen threads for just about every other age but 4 year-olds. So here it goes...

We are overseas where our choices of high-quality toys are slim and/or very expensive so I would like to take advantage of upcoming seasonal sales to buy my 4yo DD a years' worth of toys (to be given over the span of the year). So I really, really need help since I have to buy everything online without the benefit of seeing it in person...

She loves a wide range of toys:
dolls (but she does not discriminate in terms of quality so we are OK there)
building toys (mega blocks, tinker toys)
crafts
dress up and imaginery play
play food and kitchen
piano

She's into everything from fairies to "super heroes"

Any and all ideas of your kids' favorites at this age would be helpful!

My dd's fave toy at that age was a marble run.

She never did get into barbies and ponies, but was given many for gifts that year.

I have a 4.5 yr old ds this year, and he will be getting lots of art supplies to go with the writing centre and easels we already have. He does a lot of cutting, gluing, drawing, writing letters, copying words I've written on a chalkboard....

He will also get some lego, probably just a starter bin.

A good quality toy cash register.

Some puzzles.

New versions of games that he trashed the pieces of when he was two, like Life and Sorry. He wants to learn to play chess. He finds it hard not to win games, so I'm looking for good cooperative ones for children who don't read much.

Some castle and fairytale figures from Schliech and Papo.

Some books of fairy tale stories. He is obsessed with a version of Rumplestiltskin that we already have.

Maybe some more playsilks.
