Best parenting magazines? (besides Mothering)

Thread Starter
My mom wants to buy me a new magazine subscription for Christmas and I'd like to add a parenting magazine. Something fairly light (Mothering and the Economist are my other subscriptions) but not something that's total fluff (I have the fashion-focused ones). Any ideas? Fun to read, but still with some good articles?

Cookie is my favorite. It's honest and fun.

That Kiwi mag looks really interesting, I'm going to see if I can find a sample copy. Another suggestions would be Wondertime, perhaps? It's light, pretty pictures and has the occasional nugget of interesting information. My husband ordered it last year because it had a few articles written by dads, too.

I also enjoy Brain Child. It can get a little sarcastic sometimes but the essays tend to be well written and the subject matter is interesting and varies quite a lot. It has essays and the info tends to be more political motherhood stuff not health info or crafts or anything like that.
