"Twilight" and 80s rock/pop music

This is cross-posted in TAO as I'm looking for trafic asap...but here goes!

My dd wanted to have a Twilight party, and belatedly I came up with the idea to make a cd as party favors. I wanted the songs to be mainly rock (alt rock, etc is cool), and I wanted them to be vaguely night/dark love/vampire or fantastical themed. And I wanted them to be mainly from the 80s (though any good song from anytime would be fine). I know, I know, LOL!

Anyhow, I have a couple of songs:

Two Pat Benatar songs, "Get Nervous" and "Love is a Battlefield"
Laura Branigan's "Self Control"
the Cranberries "Zombie"

What other suggestions can you make? Cheezy songs are great, any suggestion would be fantastic! And the sooner the better....I wanted to make these this afternoon!!!

Thanks ladies!!!

The Smiths', How Soon Is Now - got kinda spooky synth, always makes me think of dark alleys or something.

I've heard the Twilight Soundtrack is OK.

ETA: that Toadies song!! Possum Kingdom. Supposedly they didn't mean it to sound like it was about becoming a vampire, but that sure is what it sounds like.

"Within You" and "As The World Falls Down" by David Bowie from the Labyrinth soundtrack would seem fitting.

If you're lookign for cheesy, Jessica Simspon's "I Wanna Love You Forever" is very cheesy and way over-the-top and kind of fits the storyline.

Sara McLachlan's "Posession" is less cheesy and seems fitting.

bloodletting - concrete blonde

temptation waits - garbage (buffy soundtrack)

I would die for you - garbage

Burn - the cure

Laura Branigan Self Control

INXS Never tear us apart

Bon Jovi I'll Be There For You

I was going to say Pet Semetary by the Ramones, LOL. But you went a different route.

Everytime We Say Goodbye sung by Annie Lennox

How about "There's a moon over Bourbon Street" by Sting? It's about vampires. And it's 80's, or maybe 90's, I can't remember.

How about Lita Ford "Kiss Me Deadly"

It's cheesier than cheesy, but fits your theme...and I'm pretty sure it's 80s:

Poison: Flesh and Blood (think it might actually be called Flesh and Blood Sacrifice)

There's also Judas Priest's Touch of Evil...think it's from the early 90s and it's not that well known.

Not 80's music, but Lullaby and This Is For Keeps, by The Spill Canvas. On YouTube these songs are being called Bella and Edward's songs; not sure if they are actually in the movie or people just think they fit. They do fit though, and they are very pretty songs!

Killing Moon and/or The Cutter, Echo and the Bunnymen
Waterfront, Simple Minds
Madonna of the Wasps, Robyn Hitchcock
Dazzle, Siouxsie and the Banshees
The Hungry Wolf, X
AND Hungry Like the Wolf, Duran Duran
Bloodletting is an absolutely perfect song for your purpose, so I'm just seconding it
Love Song for a Vampire, Annie Lennox (from the Bram Stoker's Dracula soundtrack)
Is She Weird, Is She White, the Pixies
