how much weight have you gained? - Page 2

I am 26 weeks and 5 lbs. I was heavy to begin with (188lbs) so I don't think I really need to gain anymore weight but I do feel paranoid about it at times! Like, I'm not properly taking care of my baby. I thought it was pretty obvious that I was pregnant, since when I go out, I'm in maternity tops but when I've gone to pick up baby items, people are like, and who is this for?? ME you dork!!!! I"m pregnant one!!

I've found that I really do need to eat smaller meals now since I tend to get full much faster. I can't have milk with food now (unless it's a small bowl of cereal); I have to drink it alone otherwise I won't be able to finish my meal!

26 weeks and have gained 11lbs. I started out 10lbs below what I was with my daughter so I feel a little better about it. I weighed 163 to start with at 5'7". I only gained 18 with her and she was 8lbs!

I am at 11lbs at 28 weeks.

I started off about 20lbs ever what I should be at so I am just fine with not gaining a whole lot. My belly is huge so I know the baby is still growing!

I'm 29 weeks. I've gained less than 10, but I started about forty pounds over!

I was hoping to only gain 20 lbs, maybe less (I am very overweight), but instead of losing weight like I did with my first two, I just held steady and started gaining a bit. Last time I checked, I had gained about 12 pounds. I am 28 weeks. Since the third trimeseter is where I really gained with my first two (ultimately gaining like 14 with my first, 17 with my second), I am worried I will gain like 15 from here. I am really too heavy to gain 30 pounds in a pregnancy.

I think a LOT of my weight is based on timing- this pregnancy has gotten to enjoy both kids' birthdays, our anniversary, both our birthdays, Halloween, two friends' baby showers, and now Thanksgiving and then Christmas. I didn't have a fighting chance! Also, whereas my metabolism was at rock-bottom starting my other two pregnancies, this time, I had already lost a bunch of weight and was already exercising regularly. Oh, and my last pregnancy, I nursed my older one the entire 40ish weeks. And I am now 31, as opposed to almost 24 and almost 26. Age matters.

I try not to sweat my weight too much, but instead concentrate on staying active, and eating well. It is just hard with all of the outside influences, and my own concerns about ever getting to a healthy weight. At least despite being overweight, I am in great health.

a little more than I'd like

Twenty seven weeks and about 22 lbs. I wish less, but it is what it is. Mostly hips and thighs. I am the type that can gain weight in a jiffy if I don't work out hard and really watch what I am eating...and well, not really doing that. I am so looking forward to a hard core workout...in three months!

I've only gained 6 pounds, and I'm due Feb. 5. I have no idea why I've gained so little, because I've been eating plenty and I'm huge. And the baby is measuring three weeks ahead.

I started out at 125 and weighed in at 150 at my last appt when I was 28 weeks. I don't own a scale so I don't know how much I've gained since then. Throughout this pregnancy I've been measuring between 3-5 weeks ahead.

Well, I've gained around 18 pounds which I don't think is a whole lot, but my bellly is HUGE.. I guess this is where all the weight is coming from?! I just hope I don't have a HUGE baby!

I've gained 32 pounds according to the scale at the m/w office.

But that scale is different from mine and I haven't weighed myself at home recently, so I don't know. I'm gaining whatever I need to gain, I reckon, though it is a little daunting, since I'm just now about to hit 29 weeks complete.

And I gained 33 pounds total last time. So we'll see. But I was a little underweight to start, and 5 pounds lighter this time than last pg, so we'll see.

I'm not stressing over it.

I'm still holding steady at 18 lbs gain at 29 weeks and 4 days. I was suprised when I weighed myself this morning bc I felt like I ate a ton of food over the past 5 days while I was away.

I started out at 165 and now I'm 194, so that's 29lbs, right? I gained 60 with my first birth and about 40 with the other births.

I'm likely at the exact same gain!
I gained 70 and 73lbs with the other pregnancies, despite eating healthy and exercising. This time, I've been on a diabetic diet all along due to my insulin resistance. So, that might be helping me gain more slowly than in the past though I'll still end up gaining more than the average woman. I started at a healthy weight for my height in all my pgs. (110 this time, 113 and 108 the other times).
