Weekly Menu w/ to-buy lists, looking for...

Hello!

I've really, really come to love a book I bought last year... It has weekly menus & to-buy lists for that week. So, it's taken the "What's for dinner?" question out & has taken so much stress out of my life, too.

Any recs on similar type books? I'm looking for healthy, but yummy, type meals, too.

thanks,
carla

There is a series by a Canadian author called Cooking For the Rushed. Author is Sandi Richard. It provides weekly plans, and grocery lists. You can even go onto the website and print out copies of the lists.

She has a television program as well, called Saving Dinner.

Not sure where you can get the books in the US, but you can probably order online.

How funny that both cookbooks have a similar name...The book "Saving Dinner" is from Susan Ely.

I will definitely check out your rec! Thanks!!

Plans I've tried:
http://www.dinewithoutwhine.com/
http://e-mealz.com/
http://www.menus4moms.com/ (the basic menu here is free)

I don't like any enough to pay for more than a 3-month subscription, but there are some for you to look at.

Carla, if you really liked the original Saving Dinner book, she has other versions - vegetarian, low-carb, etc. Those might offer more in the same format you're used to.
