Our Babies...stuff that makes you smile

Orion is 2 months old and I am amazed. There are so many things that he does I find myself smiling all the time. I thought it would be fun if we shared the funny things our babies do.


* One time when he was sleeping he passed gas and it was so loud he startled and woke himself up

* When I pull down my bra to feed him his blue eyes get to be the size of quarters and he licks his lips

* If he is really hungry and fussing for me to hurry up...when I finally get my nipple in his mouth his eyes roll back in his head with relief

* He is dramatic and moody like his dad

* He LOVES naked time. He kicks and wiggles

* When we are in the shower if he gets a little chilly his chin will quiver. I will put him back under the shower spray and he sighs

* I am amazed that such a tiny creature can take up the whole bed. By morning my husband is on one edge and I am on the other


**** I am tired, I always need a shower, the house is messy, my pug is smelly, I am happier than I have ever been

* Sometimes when Dh is holding him Dh will say "Whoo Whoo" and Desi will attempt to make the sound back at him.

* He's cooing and smiling at us all the time.

Let's face it, just about everything he does makes me smile I'm soo in love.

*It is so wonderful to baby wear a tiny baby again. He snuggles up buries his face in my cleavage and sleeps so happily...

*His smile is so big and he does it all the time...

*He has just started to laugh, really laugh and it is amazing....

*Watching my older boys kiss and snuggle him

*Old ladies in stores who have to touch his sweet head

*How excited he gets when it is time to nurse...

*That he loves to poop in the bath tub...

I giggled as I read this, with Sophia asleep in my arms, and I looked down at her and she was smiling in her sleep too!

Last night Colin let out a belch to end all belches. It went on... and on... and on.... and it changed pitch several times and he even gurgled or something in the middle. When it was finally over he paused a couple seconds, then said "Ah!" in the sweetest little high-pitched voice. I could not stop laughing.

Then tonight Colin was laying in the co-sleeper, not tired at all but just going to town sucking on his fist. He had his whole hand in his mouth and was just slurping and gurgling and singing as he was doing it. When he would catch my eye he would get a huge grin on his face.

He's such a little stinker.
