Does anyone have any pattern or ideas on a photo frame that could be homemade and then decorated by children? I've found cardboard ones online that look like they could be decorated by kids, but i was hoping for ones decorated by kids that don't look totally ugly (like popsicle sticks, etc). I'd like to give the family pictures of the kids for christmas in homemade frames...

What about a wooden frame from a place like Michael's that you paint, and then decorate with something from nature, like pine cones, etc.

One year I got store bought frames and instead of decorating those I got the kids to paint the matte for the picture. they could go wild and it would still look good.
Another time we glued all sorts of beads from the bead store on a rustic painted blue frame for my dad's b-day. It was his 80th so we glued 80 beads on.
