This is the first time I have made candles.
I just made some votive type beeswax candles from recycled candles that weren't burning well. I haven't done a second pour yet. How long should I wait to do that? There hasn't been a well form around the wick yet, but the wax has pulled away from one edge of the votive. Do candles have to sit for a period of time to cure before burning them?
Also I have some parafin wax that I thought I might use up to make gifts. Can I scent that with essential oils or do I need to use special fragrance?
