Any one give birth without bloody show or loss of mucus plug??

Well, I guess I can answer my own question and say...I have...twice!!

I'm just wondering how common that is, not to experience either one of those. If you don't loose your mucus plug, where the heck does it go?? I assume it comes out at some point but it just goes unnoticed in all the excitement. Bloody show never happend. Never saw any blood until after the birth.

I would LOVE to have some sort of forewarning this time around. It would be nice to have more of a clue than "oops, my water just broke. here we go!"

I never had bloody show with #1, but I did lose my mucus plug during active labor.

I didn't have bloody show with #2 and also did not lose my mucus plug, unless it came out during pushing in the pool!

I did have bloody show this time, which totally shocked me. I didn't see any real 'plug' at any point, though.

I didn't with either of my two labors. No sign at all until the waters let loose!

I didn't have any with #1 or #2 - had some show several hours before labor started with #3, and am currently having it with #4

No plug with DD#1.

Lots of plug AND bloody show a few hours before labor started with DS #2.

Off and on bloody show and plug for MONTHs before DS#3 was born. And during labor while they checked me there was gunk oozing out all over the place, so I know I lost it during labor.

No plug/show with DS2... my only sign he was coming was my water breaking!
