tuesday the 16th at 10:30 is fine w/me. Let's each bring a snack?

I'd love to have it at my house if it's not too far for everyone. And mommaduck, please bring your ducklings, all are welcome at my house. I do have a yard, but it's not well fenced. If it's warm, we can play outside too!

heidi, how far are you from the reading area? i'd love to come, but my tiny one is not a fan of the car yet. also, does anyone have older kids? my bigger kids always get board when we go places,lol..(they are only 9 1/2 ,6 1/2 and 5) it seems everyone we know in our area has their older kids in school...

I can't. It takes 2 vehicles for our family to go anywhere. Hubby works days for the next couple of months.

Heidi,

I don't mind having it here... but I am a little worried about space. we're not in a tiny place, but surely not too big.... and more people seem to be interested than I originally thought! (not that it's a bad thing!) but we just moved here infall and our yard has nothing fun in it... so we'd be stuck indoors. which again, is fine with me.

how big is your house? woud it have room for a lot of people?

My kids are 8.5yr (boy), 4yr (girl) and one on the way...

we homeschool so my kids are bored when we go on playdates too as almost everyone we know here does public or private schooling. they woudl be thrilled for some older kids to hang with!

well, if it's 40 or above, i'll take Milo out! it IS supposed to be 55 tomorrow, so who knows?

well, I think my house has plenty of room. . . but smee knows better. I'm sure we'd have enough room! and i don't mind having a houseful, of people.

myloveeli- I'm over an hour from reading depending on where you are, and what time of day.

i don't have anything fun in my yard exept yard!

well we don't have a yard really... some grass but it's narrow and not all that fun. it's a townhouse. and not our permanent place. we're renting until my husband has been working a little longer and then going elsewhere - probably next fall-ish after baby is born. we just moved to PA in August... and then I foudnout I was pregnant followed by extreme HG... so the yard is the last thing on my mind. we're pretty outdoorsy people so I'm not thrilled with our lack of yard. our old house was in the woods and it was great! but... my husband didn't have any work so that kinda puts a damper on this lol.

Where abouts are you? I'm near Myerstown...

again I have no problems having it here if it's easier for everyone, we're just a boring homeschool family heh so I don't have anything fun to offer. but if you're kids are happy just hanging out and playing and the adults are happy chatting then it should be fine.

I have NO idea any of the road names aside from the one I live on haha I'm directionally challanged big time and we have one car so I rarely make it out on my own... town names would work better for me. I can at least look it up.

Thanks for the offer, Amy. I found out after talking with hubby that there was more going on with our vehicles than I thought. He's started taking mine to work today and his needs to go to the shop. I've had a lot going on here lately anyhow with extended family and am trying to just relax and get things back to normal around here
