Hi! I am new to this site.I picked up Mothering at Whole Foods yesterday and fell in love. So me!
Anyway, I am due 8/30 with Lucas who will be our first baby. I conceived (finally) using Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture, herbs, diet changes) after going through a few rounds of fertility drugs that didn't work and I felt were not really what I wanted to put my body through anyway. I have PCOS and do not ovulate on my own, so I was skeptical if TCM could actually get my broken body going, but it did, and much faster than we expected once we started! We are so thankful to be expecting!

This is my 3rd baby, but she won't be coming home with me. She is being adopted by a local couple.

It was over by 20-25 weeks last two times, not this pregnancy.
I hope you get better soon. I've heard it can sometimes get worse with subsequent pregnancies. It was traumatic for my husband to watch me suffer through it that he's spoken several times of not having anymore children (and this is our first).
He felt so helpless and that's one of the worst feelings for men, when their instincts are to protect and provide for us and they can't do a thing to make it better.
