So who's here? - Page 3

Hi I am a 34 year old Mom to 5 great kids. Having number 6 is really exciting. We miscarried last February so we have been trying since then. I got my faint line this morning. I will be due Aug 1. My good friend who also just found out she is pregnant has lots of signs. I got nothing except my sense of smell is out of control. Makes me worried I could miscarry again. Trying to be excited but will feel better when I feel yucky.

Congrats to everyone who have already shared their happy news.

It looks like I will be joining you. This comes as quite a surprise. We were not going to try for #2 until after our vacation in February since I wanted to be able to enjoy the tropics without being sick but I guess nature had other plans. I have not yet told DH and trying to find the perfect time. I know he will be excited once he gets over the shock and panic. Never thought I would be this fertile at 35 but it sure beats the alternative.

According to my calculations I am due 8/9/09 but went almost 2 weeks over with DS so I fully expect to go late which is fine by me. I had him in the birthing center suites at a local hospital with the best midwife. All in all a wonderful experience. It helped that I didn't arrive until I was almost ready to push. He had the cord around his neck 3 times and was impossible to push out so we had to resort to the vacumm. There just wasn't enough cord for him to make it out. Had some major hemmoraging afterwards so I am glad I was in the hospital but couldn't wait to go home. It was torture when they told me they wouldn't release me after 1 day because of my blood levels.

I am 35 going on 36 with a beautiful little boy from April 07. I have been married for 5 years in February (hence the tropical vacation).

not confirmed but pretty positive about #2

I'm 35 years old, my son is 10 months and 4 weeks old. I believe I conceived 11/21 and might be due around 8/13/09. I haven't talked to anyone about it- am waiting until week 5 to test and then will try to tell DH in a Christmas card. Not sure how he will react- we are very busy and our budget is tight. We've only had sex about once a month! So far things are exactly like the first time- very sore breasts, mood swings, backache, fatigue, etc. The implantation bleeding was exactly like last time too. I'm a nanny and a doula in training and mother to a 10 year old step-daughter. Not sure how this is going to work, but i'm excited anyway. Want to have a home-birth, and I still cosleep with my baby, so not sure how to go about that, and want to breastfeed and cloth-diaper this one.

Hi everyone -- dipping my toe in here. I found out by HPT on Monday night that we're expecting again. I had a beta drawn on Tuesday to confirm, and again today to monitor that doubling HCG.

I have two children at home, and have had four pregnancy losses. I usually have trouble with my progesterone levels in early pregnancy, which is suspected to be the culprit of my losses. So far, though, my numbers look really good. My progesterone level is the highest its ever been -- especially this early on. (25.2 on CD29 for any number watchers.)

My due date is officially August 11, but I have a transabdominal cerclage, so I'm more likely to deliver around the 1st. Hoping I get to have a lovely, long pregnancy with all of you...

Congrats to all the August 09 mommies-to-be!

I'm Leah, 33. DH & I have been TTC #2 for 19 months. We've tried 5 cycles of clomid, 5 IUIs, 1 cycle of injectibles, 1 failed IVF, and 1 miscarriage thrown in for added measure.

We were THRILLED to see two beautiful pink lines yesterday morning at 11 DPIUI. I'm really paranoid about this pregnancy since we lost a baby this time last year...so I'll be taking things one day at a time until we're out of the danger zone. Just had my first beta drawn this am - will update when I get the results. Our due date will be 8/16/09.

We have an amazing 3.5 year old little dude at home that keeps us on our toes. We are so excited to finally be able to give him a sibling!

Hi Expecting Mamas,
We just found out that we are (cautiously) expecting #2....... haven't told anyone except my best friend yesterday- but only 'cause she guessed.
I'm seeing the dr. in a few weeks for the first check up, but online EDD calculators put me at early to mid-August. :-)
I'm having *horrible* morning sickness, which makes me think either I'm off by a month or I'm having more than one......
DD is 2 1/2 and is an awesome child (who never sleeps..........)
I hope everyone is doing well,
~maddymama

Hi, I'm here possibly. I believe my EDD should be the last week of July, but I was a week late with DD, so I think the first week of Aug. is a safer bet.

We haven't told anyone yet, but plan to in two weeks when we're home for Christmas. My sister is so going to kill me, since I'm in her wedding on Aug 1st! Oops!

We're so very excited and I'm looking forward to getting to know you ladies.

I'm here, though it's still kind of sinking in. Got a BFP today at 16 dpo, and the lines are DARK. :

Question about my due date though: My last period started on the 2nd of Nov and ended on the 7th. I KNOW I O'd either on the 19th or the 20th. I've done two edd calculators, one said August 13th and the other said August 2nd. I'm totally confused. If I know for sure when I o'd - let's say it was November 19th - then wouldn't my due date be August 19th 2009?

TIA, looking forward to chatting with you guys!! :

: I am. Just got BFP this morning.

My name is Heather. I just turned 30. I am a SAHM to a little boy named Milo who turned one on November 14th. He is nursing strong, so the plan is to tandem nurse.

I am really excited to get to know you all.

I'm Robin, 37 years young! I am pg with #5 and due on 8-13 with conception on 11-20. I always go "late", however, usually by about a week. My dh got a V in Feb. and then got a reversal in June (a long story!), so I guess his swimmers are all there (he never had any post procedure testing done)! We have a 9 yr old DD, a 6.5 yr old DS, a 4.5 yr old DD, and an almost 2.5 yr old DD. This will be the longest spacing of all of my pgs. And I will be 38 when this baby arrives. We plan on another home waterbirth. Oh and I am also a certified birth doula. But don't get to do it much due to my family. Very thrilled to be here!

I'm cautiously excited to be here, too...

I have an incredibly fabulous 4 year old and a super special baby daddy. I'm 33 (for a few more weeks) and on my 4th (!) pregnancy.

I had a really really sucky mc in July. Baby daddy and I waited patiently to be ready to try again. I was starting to feel the urge in October and had a few conversations with baby daddy. He was reluctant and feeling like we should wait longer (for mostly financial reasons).

Then over Thanksgiving when all my family was around I mentioned to my sister that I was feeling something very familiar.... and on Monday after everyone had left, I dropped off the little one at preschool and came home with a test, which turned positive right away.

As much as I was feeling ready to do this, I was super surprised we made it happen. I still can't figure out how the heck we managed to conceive because my cycle beads just don't add up!

Anyway, because of my sort of recent mc I had my hcg levels tested and they came back with a whopping 7258. Made me feel pretty good.

So, I'm optimistic, but nervous -- I'll might go see my GP who also does acupuncture. I'll wait to see a mw until I find the right one. I had a birthing center birth the first time. Am hoping for a home birth for #2.

hellos to all!

I just got a positive yesterday. I'm Jen, 36 and this will be my second child- also second August baby! I'm a little nervous to have them just two years apart but hoping it'll be a great spacing for our family. I'm already having to pee constantly which I can't believe since it's still so early. I haven't even called the doctor yet but according to FF my due date is Aug. 16

I'm also still nursing and co-sleeping and feel like we'll have to address that in the coming months. I can't imagine trying to co-sleep with a newborn and a toddler. DD only nurses 3x a day now, just to fall asleep and I'm hoping to slowly wean her from that in the coming months.

Hello,
I was here for awhile and now I will be leaving. I really thought I was preggo but it turns out that I'm not. Sucks. But we will be trying this month and I will hopefully be in the September Due Date Club. Best wishes to all of you and your little Leos' to be.
