I really can't believe I'm posting here. I'm 27 but turning 28 in a week and DH is 31 this is our first child.
DH and I have been trying for a very long time and were in the process of starting a domestic adoption. When my period didn't show up on time around CD27 I waited and waited and waited until yesterday late in the evening to test, CD 31. This may sound silly but yesterday was the day Catholics celebrate the Immaculate Conception and I figured if I was going to get a positive I should go for it on that special day. I flipped out when I saw the test say pregnant... and still get weepy just thinking about it. DH and I miscarried a baby at 7 weeks 2 years ago so I'm trying not to get ahead of myself but I'm just soooo happy it is nearly impossible to keep myself in check. |
: And I'm enjoying reading all of these posts!
More on that in future discussions . . .

first time all year!
According to fertilityfriend.com I was ovulating (or close to it) when we DTD for pregnancy so I am hoping that increases our chances of a BOY. We shall see. A girl would be wonderful as well, of course.

Hey hey hey!!!
I'm Maggie, 23, mama to 3 girls. We decided to have another baby to maintain our "free by 40" although we'll be in our early 40s when this LO is on his/her own. I'm due either August 20 or 23.... Not too sure which as I totally didn't write down my period start date in November first time all year! According to fertilityfriend.com I was ovulating (or close to it) when we DTD for pregnancy so I am hoping that increases our chances of a BOY. We shall see. A girl would be wonderful as well, of course. |
