I need help!

I just found out I'm pregnant with baby #2 and am thrilled. I had a hospital birth with my daughter and am planning a homebirth this time around. I live in the Provo, Utah area and am looking for a good homebirth mw. Anyone who is familiar with the area and has a recommendation please let me know. Thanks

Try posting in the Utah area of the 'Finding Your Tribe' forum, MW searches are common in the tribal areas section

I absolutely love Jules Johnstun. She is really knowlegdable and personable. She is going to attend my homebirth any day now. She lives in Sandy and is coming to Woods Cross, I would imagine she would come to Provo too. She does her prenatals in West Jordan. PM me if you want more info.

Jules Johnstun is fantastic! We were using her for care until we moved back to Portland when I was 7 mo pregnant. I interviewed several midwives and found her to be the most personable and the most reassuring to DH.

Check out betterbirth.com. They have an office in Orem and have three very competent midwives to choose from. I am working with Brigette, since she lives closest to me and I have very fast labors, but the other two seem to be fabulous, too. I know that there's also a midwife in Salem, but I can't remember her name right off hand. PM me if you need more info.
