I thought about buying a winter hat and gloves for my daughter, but I found a good pair for cheap at Meijer last night. I think the only other thing we have to buy is a new set of tires for the Mazda. Woo hoo.

I am not shopping on Black Friday, but I was noticing that the prices seem higher than usual. Last year I tried to get a flash drive, and nearly everywhere that had deals on them were pricing them at $5. This year, I have only seen one advertised, and it is $12. That is more than double the price of last year. I don't remember the size, so maybe it is a much larger drive, but I kind of doubt it.

DP and I love going out on BF We don't really need much, but it's a way for us to spend a little bit of kid free time together. Standing on a sidewalk. In the cold. LOL! DP's dad will come stay at our house with sleeping kiddo while we go have some fun. DP and I both love holiday shopping and just being out and about this time of year. DS (who has autism and sensory issues) does not. We compromise by going out without him sometimes so we get our fill without stressing ds out.

I'm not going out to shop.....DH works, and three kids on top of the crowds would surely lead me to an anxiety attack.

I am even considering doing most of my shopping online this year. Stocking stuffers will really be all I intend to get in the stores.

I did go a couple years ago, though, and I can see how people get so into it. It's fun to get your hands on those deals!

Deals can be found but like always you have to know what you are looking at and the price you can find it elsewhere. Just because it is on sale does not mean it is a deal.

My DH went to TSC today for a coverall type garage and they gave him Friday's price of $80 off. He was all kinds of excited having not even expected a sale. We actually need more then one and he will probably go back on Friday and buy another one.

My plans for Black Friday are to sit around with family and eat leftovers. Really!

I NEVER shop on Black Friday. My mother owned a gift store for many years and my memories of Black Friday are of working . I hated that we never got to spend more time with family, so I refuse to participate in anything that would take others away from their family too.

Besides, everyone is getting homemade gifts, so I have no reason to shop.

Plus I hate shopping and hate crowds - I'd rather have a lobotomy than participate in Black Friday.

Sometimes I will shop BF for things that we need and wont buy used, like sheets, socks, underwear etc

We live in Portland and have an awesome craigs list as well as tons of great yard sales and thrift stores. I get most my deals there.

I'm paying my mortgage, lol. I want to make sure it's paid in advance so I can concentrate on finishing up the little odds and ends for Christmas shopping and not worry about $$.

I'm thinking about getting a Fly Fusion pen from target for transferring drawings to the comp and use in taking notes etc... they should be on sale for 29 I think.

I'm also saw a pretty good deal on a pot/pan set at sears around 19 for an almost hundred dollar set.

I'm going to try through the websites first but if the things I want aren't avail. online I'll have to schlep out to the store.

we don't shop usually so will no way be going out on black friday.. we are making all our gifts and working on a no buying policy.. i'll be honest, there are a few things i'd love to pick up but they are not really necessities...
