Stay home.

You couldn't pay me to shop on that day.

the kids and i are having an all-day pajama, movie and junk food fest. i went out on bf once and will never do it again. i have sensory issues and it was physically painful and scary to be out in throngs of people, with the noise and confusion. i'm about done with my shopping, anyway, just need stocking stuffers and i'll buy those in time for christmas eve.

I wasn't going to do any shopping, but I just got an email from my favorite natural parenting store, and they are going to have $5 bins and free wool baby legs to the first 10 customers!! :

We'll be decorating and spending the day at home No shopping.

Although.... if anyone knows of any good deals happening online Friday, I might check out some of those! As long as I can stay in my PJs..

I'll be shopping. I probably won't buy anything, but it's the one day a year my mom, my aunt, my cousin, and I have to get together.

Last year, I was terribly nauseated, and my aunt had just had surgery, so it didn't happen. I'm looking forward to this year.

Only nurslings get to come along, so it's a day without my toddler, we eat lunch out, and I get to laugh and cut up with the girls. It's great. I can't wait.

I'm cooking Thanksgiving Dinner on Friday. It's just one of the joys of being married to a public works employee. At least the job is steady and the pay is good.

I'm joining the stay at home crowd... I have only done Black Friday once and I vowed never again.

To all those braving the mass confusion and crowds- good luck and safe shopping.

Me and a friend are meeting at 4am at Kohls and I'm going to get a lot of shopping done there for my brothers and sis in laws, and we'll be heading out to other stores and breakfast and then more stores!

I think our husbands and kids are meeting us for breakfast in the morning too! So it'll be fun - I think!

I'm also planning on not sleeping at all that night - eek! Cuz I'm usually up until midnight anyhow and I'll need to be working on my website, so yeah, I am probably not going to sleep - but I guess that's my choice!

But I plan to have most of my Christmas shopping done THAT day!

I read that as "I went out (cheated) on my boyfriend..."

Anyway, I will be at home avoiding phone calls from work and my MIL.

I'm shopping the ads to see if I can find a good deal on a chest freezer. So far it looks like a long shot. Also, we lost our camera a few weeks back, so if there's an excellent deal on something like that we might venture out... otherwise, I'm working in the afternoon and we might hit a movie that night.

I hate shopping.

I've shopped on Black friday and few times but this year am really trying to take advantage of as many sale prices as I can. I'll be getting 90/95% of my 5 and 7 yr olds gifts that day as well as some new clothes for babe, shoes for dh and a gift for my mom.
I'll be hitting Kohls at 4am, Toysrus @ 5, Target @6, Sports Authority after that, then the mall. With money the way it is I need to take advantage of any price break that I can. I'll have my 12 and 13 yr old partners in crime with me

staying in my pj's as long as possible, drinking yummy coffee and decorating for Christmas! last yr, dh even took the boys to the mall to give me some peace-my fingers are crossed that that will happen again they came home to a decorated house and were awestruck! (of course we do the tree together later)...

I have to work a full day. But my one $12 gift was bought weeks ago, so no shopping anyway!

Staying home! No way I'd go shopping!!! Maybe we'll decorate for Xmas
Oh, going to our friend's house for our friends Thanksgiving dinner

Same as it's been for the past 20 or so years. Stay home, play Scrabble, bake cookies, hang out with my family. I have a hard time with crowds.

And not that I am anti shopping for gifts or anything....it's just that traditionally, dh likes to pick up supplies the night before t'giving. So he's out tonight with our oldest picking up a few things.

If I shop on Black Friday, it will be going to a basement sale advertised in our local newspaper, lf I had the money I'd probably be doing some shopping this year, but I'm dead broke. At first that really bummed me out but now I see it as a blessing in disguise. Last year was my first year doing the black friday shindig. I blew through so much money and I don't even have half to three quarters of the things I bought. It was a real eyeopener when I thought about it.

So I may go to a basement sale, and afterwards I'm going to go over to my family's house to watch some Christmas movies and maybe help them prepare for holiday fun (wrapping presents, decorating, etc.)
