the kind in the middle??

I have a problem, I am taking a train with my ds, 2.. from Berlin to Heppenheim, I have to take ds, suitcase, my carseat, its too much for me to carry alone, switching in Frankfurt..

My friend has this kind of car seat for us to use, which would make my travels much easier, but is it safe??

Are you asking about the one all the way to the right, with the harness? If your ds is already forward facing, a forward facing harnessed booster should be fine. If he is rear facing obviously that won't work. I wouldn't put a 2yo in a booster seat at all (the first 2 where you sit the kid in the seat and use the adult seatbelt) but I would be fine putting in a harnessed booster as long as he fits properly (the one we have you have to be 9 kilo to sit in it).

thank you, we ended up taking our own, but only made iz one station and ds got very sick so we returned
