I don't want to eat.

I am 5 weeks today, and so far I have only the beginnings of nausea. It usually hits me hard right at 6 weeks, and I think it's coming. For now though, nothing sounds good.

I am forcing myself to eat some, but after a few bites it makes me want to gag. Nothing healthy sounds good at all. The things that sound good to me right this moment are bbq potato chips and mcdonalds hamburgers! I am going to resist those cravings (for the moment at least), but I should probably eat something.

I forced a few almonds down this morning. And some whole raw milk. Oh, and then some banana bread. But now it's lunchtime, and I just cannot think of a single- healthy- thing that I could possibly eat.

Anybody else feel like this?

I'm not in your ddc (I'm due June 29), but I saw this in new posts, and I have to tell you that I am SOOOOO feeling the same way. Blech. It's really tough when you KNOW you should be eating healthy, and you want to be eating healthy, but you just can't do it.
It's rough. I can only hope that it doesn't last that long. Just wanted to commiserate!

Maybe some hot bone broth? Unless the smells of meat are making you sick too. I had that with my DD. The smell of roasting chicken would make me hurl. But I did crave ramen noodle soup. (And I did actually eat some So hence my suggestion of hot bone broth with brow rice or pasta? That would be pretty nutritious.

last night i kind of had to make myself eat supper trho i'm not actually nauseous

last time around though i pretty much ate whatever i craved. lucky me i craved spinach and hard boiled eggs

if it means eating tho a burger is not too bad

Would it help to have some anti-nausea ideas? Let me know and I'll pull up my old list from my last pregnancies.
