How did you feel the day you went into labor?

Wondering how you felt the day you went into labor.

I haven't gone into labor, yet. Sunday night I was having regular "rushes" and then DH announced how busy and deadline driven his Monday was going to be and they stopped. They've been off/on very sporadically since then. This morning I woke up and just felt exhausted and now I'm wondering if it means anything. So mamas, wanna shed some light on me?

This time I felt normal, but had some bowel cleansing episodes. I thought it was just my tummy acting up (actually a rather normal occurrance). Even though I was having pretty regular contractions, I didn't believe it was labor until my water broke

I'm not in your due date club, but I went past due with both my kids. On the days they were born I woke up with a wonderful, peaceful feeling - knowing that "today's the day". Both mornings I got up early and spent some time by myself, thinking about the big adventure that lay ahead.

I was fine in the a.m. and worked 6 hours. In the afternoon, I had some bowel cleansing, then threw up at 7:30 p.m. Went to lay down and water broke while I was sleeping at 9:30 p.m.. Dd 2 was born at 11 p.m.

I spent practically the whole morning in the bathroom (sorry for TMI). Aside from that, I felt remarkably calm, calmer than I had in days, and I had a very strong nesting urge. I think I sort of just knew that it would be that day.

This last one I felt more tired and relaxed. The whole week before I was nesting like crazy. So it felt kinda weird relaxing all day and knowing I still had stuff to get ready. But I just felt like I needed to rest that day.

for the week prior, i had bh contrax, leaking amnio that rehealed itself, soft stool/diareah (canNOT spell that word!), 50 million little "positive signs things were progressing". so when i had a little bloody show on the 17th i was like "whoopde-freakin-do, another little sign". so sis and i went to the post office and grocery store in the a.m. then dh and i went to see the new bond movie in the p.m. by the time we left the theatre and got home about 4 p.m., i was having regular contractions. dylan was born about 12 hours later at home. i think getting out and around helped a lot, but i was happy i was out but resting at the theatre for the afternoon.

Not with this baby, but with my ds2, I was out shopping and running errands all day. It was just a rather normal day. Then later, that night, I felt contractions that I knew were the real thing.
