My friend needs to hear your stories

Hello Everyone!

I need to hear some stories about what led you to vax or not vax and how you feel about the decision you made. A friend of mine in Florida has a 5 week old and is still undecided about what if any vaccine she will get for her ds. I know that there is tons of research out there but I think it would really help her to decide if she reads stories from real Mamas who have struggled with the same decision. I have a 13 month old and we do not do any vaccines and most likely never will. I have told her my views and personal experiences that helped me to my decision but she might think I'm a little extreme and so I need you to post here so that I can forward her this thread

TIA!

I didn't want to vax before my daughter was born, but between my mother using "you are vaxxed and fine" and my DH feeling "if you don't vax, you aren't being a responsible parent and are putting baby at risk", I gave in.
When DD got her 2 month vaccines we had a few issues. About an hour after the shots she started screaming uncontrollably, turning purple from crying so hard and trying to catch her breath, to the point of vomiting a few times. Her ped said it was normal, even as he heard her in the background. Her legs swelled up about 3 times normal size, hard as rocks. After hot compresses, tylenol and about 2 hours of this screaming, she finally fell asleep. She got diarrhoea within a few hours of the vaccines being given. Within 3 days of having 7-8 bowel movements a day (from a normal 3) an anal fissure opened. The diarrhoea lasted 4 weeks, and 6 months later the anal fissure is still recurring anywhere from every week to actually staying closed for a month once, even after following all medical advise that should have healed it, including steroid cream. Her ped still claims the diarrhoea was unrelated to the vaccines. In my opinion, the most likely cause was the Rotavirus vax, which is known to cause cases of diahrroea. There is no other reason that should have caused diarrhoea in my EBF baby.

At her 4 month visit we vaccinated again, though my fear of doing so was even greater. This time was not so bad, diarrhoea "only" lasted 4 days to a week, we gave tylenol before the vaccines were administered and started hot compresses as soon as we arrived home and thereby seem to have averted the screaming and extreme swelling. However, DD had a small, hard, swollen spot at one injection site (they were not sure which, but blamed DTaP) that lasted 4 weeks. I was assured that swelling for 2-3 weeks was normal reaction, and that 4 weeks is okay too.

To me, and finally, to my DH, this was not okay. These "normal" reactions to vaccines should not be "normal" for a baby to have. With some further research, reading and experiences from other parents, we decided that we are no longer vaccinating our daughter. If she chooses to vaccinate herself as an ADULT, informed, that is her choice. But it is not my place to fill her body with these chemicals and diseases that could potentially harm her for life.
For the time being, we have told her ped that we are delaying until at least age 2. I signed the "bad mommy" form, because I know it is worthless and no different from a sheet of toilet paper, it has no legal ground or standing.

I think the best thing for her to do would be to research each vaccine and each vaccine-available disease (VAD) and decide from there. This is a great place to start:

http://www.insidevaccines.com

The things that make me wary about vaccines:

1. Ingredients
2. Reactions, including life-altering injuries and death
3. More and more vaccines added to the schedule, when will it end?
4. Many vaccines actually do not contribute to herd immunity
5. Big Pharma's hands in the pockets of CDC, FDA, AAP, etc.
6. Cover-ups by the above (these are well-documented)
7. Some aren't as effective as they are advertised to be, mis-truths in advertising
8. Vaccine testing - usually there is no true placebo used, this skews test results
9. VICP (the injury compensation program)
10. Serotype replacement (Hib and Prevnar vaccines)
11. Shifting the diseases to age groups who normally wouldn't get the disease
12. No true informed consent
13. Mandatory for schools
14. In the trial studies they only use the healthiest of the healthiest kids
15. Where are the long-term studies? Once the vaccine is on the market, we only have VAERS.
16. How many vaccine safety studies are actually independent?

Helpful Video

I decided to not vaccinate while I was pregnant. I wasn't absolutely sure, I just knew that I wanted to find out more info first, after seeing how intense the schedule for vaccinations was. I looked into the ingredients of the vaccinations and I was horrified, I didn't want to inject any of that into my baby, whether it worked or not. The more I learned, the happier I was that I chose to say "No."

And last week, I found this video..which really sums up and hits hard on so many great points of why not to vax, made by a Dr, and really well-said. Please have her watch this, it is long but it is really great!!

Good luck

Thank you all for your responses thus far. I do own Sherry Tenpenny's Video and I want to send it to her. Hopefully her and dh will not mind the 2.5 hour learning experience.......

Is your friend pro-life?

Here is a list of childhood vaccines that are cultured on aborted fetal cells, and a little info regarding the origins of the cell lines currently in use.

This is what got me started on my vax research.

I have an unvaxed 7 month old. What made me start to look into the whole vax issue was when an aquaintance's bady died if "sids" 14 hrs after her 2 month DTaP. What I have learned in my 3+ years of research has made me truly ill at times. Big Pharma is experimenting on our children and profiting from it despite numerous deaths and severe adverse reactions. Denial runs deep. I belong to another forum with a "bad experiences" section. PM me if you are interetsed in this forum for your friend..

I got measles, and the flu in HS from vaxes. I know its not a shocking story, but it happens A LOT.

My roommate in college's little brother was permanently mentally disabled from a "bad vax" I didn't ask more, thats rude

I don't know anyone who has ever had one of the diseases the vaxes prevent. I've never known anyone why died from the flu, or chicken pox or other minor illness gone awry. So, my odds are in favour of letting it play out and not getting the vax out of fear.

Honestly, hygiene prevents a lot of these diseases better then vaxes.
