Belly Cast+Adding Baby's Footprints-help

I have a belly cast some friends did with/for me, and my baby is now here, I haven't finished prepping the cast, but want to add my baby's prints while her feet are nice and tiny. Is there a way to do a footprint on paper or something and be able to transfer the print easily at a later time onto the cast? I want the footprints but don't want to rush into finishing the cast, I want to take my time and make it special.

You could decoupage baby's foot prints onto the cast and then cover with a clear finish. Make sure the foot prints won't run when you put on the clear finish first. Hope this helps
