Anyone get that "it's this weekend" feeling?

My EDD is 12/16 but there's no way I'm going that long - I just know it; everyone knows it. In fact my OB pushed my date back to there (from 12/6) to avoid automatic RCS, but today feels different. Not noticing any BH contractions really and I haven't lost my mucous plug (although my discharge has become more slippery). Today just feels different. DS has been riding very high for a long time - can't breathe and heartburn all the time. I noticied last week that he is slightly lower - I can breathe better but pee breaks have increased. OB also said she hard a time moving his head down there so he is lower now. Today he feels even lower. I'm sitting at my desk and I swear my belly is practically sitting in the chair with me. I almost have to straddle the chair - I can't close my legs!

Am I crazy for feeling this way or could I really be tuned in and anticipating labor soon?

I'm due 12/7. I just booked a week of doggy boarding starting Friday (so I can take her in whenever, we don't have to cancel the days we don't use). So I'm thinking this weekend, but I'm pretty sure booking the doggy boarding ensures either tomorrow or not until I hit 40w.

ETA: the dog boarding is communal and is a HUGE treat for my dog! it will also wear her out and she'll be less hyper after we get home from the hospital.

I'm due 12/13, but had several hours of regular, fairly strong contractions yesterday and the day before, and my baby dropped a few weeks ago (this is my 4th).
My SO has been gone for six weeks, and he's coming home this Saturday. I suspect the fact that he's not here is all that's stopping me from going into labor, so I absolutely think it could be this weekend!

I'm just feeling some changes and I'm trying not to read into it that labor is on its way. He's sitting lower, looser stools, more backaches, and just overall not feeling well. I guess I'm not just asking about people thinking they'll go this weekend - but did anyone else get a "feeling" before going into labor in previous pregnancies?
