baby books

dh was wondering about some good baby books for us to read. i feel like i need some reference material for refreshers or more natural options since i helped raise almost all of my nieces and nephews, but his only prior exposure is from my family.

natural family living (as much as economically possible) and large doses of common sense would be the best perspectives. recommendations?

thanks!

well, I'll state the obvious one and get it out of the way. Dr. Sears' Baby Book is I think the starting guide for most AP moms. I have it, read a bit prenatally, but haven't cracked it since! May I also recommend Homeopathic Medicine for Children and Infants? I have it, and from what I know of homeopathy for myself, the info looks pretty good.

The Baby Book by Dr. Sears, like Nerdymom said, is my favorite and was my bible with my first baby. Honestly I didn't even read many other baby books at all! But I did like the La Leche League Breastfeeding book. Kellymom.com is also an awesome breastfeeding/baby online resource! I also love the "newborn" section in Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Newborn, by Penny Simkin.

I'll go ahead and add The Attachment Parenting Book by the Sears.
