Thanksgiving in poor, beleaguered Michigan

Following on an earlier thread about finding insurance in Michigan and in the spirit of the coming holiday, well, I just wanted to say that in these uncertain times I am grateful for the community of support and friendship found here at Mothering.com. It is wonderful that we can reach out when we need to and be met with voices of wisdom and reassurance. It makes me feel like everything is gonna be alright in this world.

Thank you, ladies.

I agree! The women on this site are amazingly generous and caring. The milk mommy thread just melts my heart every time it pops up. So wonderful that so many women would offer to help provide milk for a baby in need. I am so glad that I stumbled here almost by mistake a year ago. Thanks ladies, for setting such a great example of what community really should be. :
