Our beautiful baby boy was born at home (in our bathroom) after only five hours of labour!
:
It was beautiful, dreamy experience and he was born at 8:00 Thursday morning after only seven minutes of pushing. Placenta took about 45 minutes which made me nervous because my midwife just had a scary retained placenta experienced with my gf who lives close to us (we're pretty remote). I think that was maybe because it was a not so subconcious concern and the bathroom was kind of chilly!
Anyway, it came out finally no problem, no tinctures or shots needed, just a good push squatting up right and, yeah, everything is wonderful!!!

@ the snorting and eagle noises... totally get that. And hope he is letting you get more sleep! Just curious... how much did he weigh?
